Open the footer of this site and you will find fifteen links that all say roughly the same thing: cold pressed oil in Mysuru, in Bengaluru, in Belagavi, in Udupi, in Kalaburagi. It is a reasonable question why a small oil press needs fifteen near-identical pages. The honest answer has two halves, and only one of them is flattering.
The half that is about being found
People do not usually search for a brand they have never heard of. They search for what they want and where they are: cold pressed oil in Hubballi, wood pressed groundnut oil Bengaluru, kobbari enne Mangaluru. If there is no page on this site that answers that question, we are not in the conversation at all.
So yes — these pages exist partly so that a search engine has something to show someone in Shivamogga. We would rather say that than pretend otherwise. The question that follows is the one worth asking: having written a page for that reason, did we make it worth reading?
The half that is about Karnataka not cooking one way
This is the part that makes the pages genuinely different from one another. A single “delivery across Karnataka” page would have been easier to write and much less useful, because the oil a kitchen needs changes as you move across the state.
In North Karnataka the everyday oils are niger (huchchellu enne) and safflower (kusube enne) — for ennegayi, chutney podi, and drizzled over jolada rotti. Those are oils most national brands do not press at all. On the coast, almost everything runs through coconut oil (kobbari enne): fish fry, gassi, the tempering, a wipe on the tava. In Old Mysuru and the Bengaluru belt it is groundnut for the frying and sesame (ellenne) for the rice baths and the ogarane.
Write one page for all of that and you end up writing for nobody. Write a Hubballi-Dharwad page and you can talk about huchchellu enne for most of it; write a Mangaluru page and you can spend it on coconut oil.
What is actually on one of these pages
Four things, in the same order each time. The dishes that city actually cooks, and which of our oils suits each. The delivery terms, in full. A paragraph on why you should or should not believe us — the FSSAI licence number and how to check it yourself. And links through to the oils, so you are not hunting for them.
What is not on them is a fabricated local address, a landmark we have not verified, or a claim that we are somehow closer to you than we are. We press in Karnataka and we ship by courier, the same as to everywhere else.
What is identical on every one of them
The prices. There is no Bengaluru price and no Kalaburagi price — the number on the product page is the number everywhere. The delivery terms are the same too: orders packed in 2–3 business days, free delivery in 7–14 days, standard shipping ₹49 (3–7 days), express ₹99 (1–3 days), all prepaid at checkout.
The FSSAI licence is the same on every page and every label: 1122632300006, verifiable on the FoSCoS portal. So is the rating, 4.65 out of 5 across more than 8,600 reviews, quoted with the count attached so you can judge it for yourself. We have written separately about why our product pages talk you out of things, and the city pages follow the same rule: a page that only tells you good news is not worth much.

If your town is not on that list, nothing changes: we deliver to every city and town in Karnataka and ship across India. The delivery page has the full terms.
Frequently asked questions
Do you have a shop or a godown in my city?
No. We press in Karnataka and send every order by courier from one place, which is why the delivery terms are the same wherever you are. A city page is about what that city cooks, not about a branch we do not have. If a cold pressed oil brand claims a local presence, it is worth asking them to name the address.
Does oil cost more if I live further away?
No. Prices are the same across Karnataka and across India, and shipping is a flat choice rather than a distance calculation: free (7–14 days), ₹49 standard (3–7 days) or ₹99 express (1–3 days). All orders are prepaid, paid online at checkout.
My city page recommends an oil I have never cooked with. Should I trust it?
Treat it as a starting point rather than an instruction. The pages describe what is traditionally used in that region, which is not the same as what your household cooks. If you are unsure, which oil for which job goes through the range bottle by bottle, and which oil the rice baths want is a recent example of how we think about matching an oil to a dish.
How do I check you are a real licensed business?
Type FSSAI licence number 1122632300006 into the FoSCoS portal and read the record back. It is printed on every bottle. We have written up why the number is on the label and how the lookup works.
